ADMINISTRATION SUPPLIES 113390-LITRES MILK, 730-KG CHEESE, 10602-KG CURD, 25596-LITRES LASSI AND 358-KG KHEER TO PEOPLE AT THEIR DOORSTEPS UNDER MISSION FATEH
(HNI BUREAU) : The Jalandhar district administration on Friday under Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh’s flagship program ‘Mission Fateh’ supplied 113390-litres of milk and other products to the people at their doorsteps in the lockdown imposed to contain Covid-19 pandemic.
The teams of the Milkfed under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Mr Varinder Kumar Sharma were working round the clock to ensure these essentials to the residents.
The Milkfed’s teams led by General Manager Mr Asit Sharma were reaching to maximum households in the district with supply of Milk and other products.
As per the details on Friday, the teams of Milkfed delivered around 113390-litres of milk to the people of the district besides, 730-kg Cheese, 10602-kg curd, 25596-litre lassi and 358-kg Kheer through the authorized dealers of Verka in every locality.
Deputy Commissioner Mr Varinder Kumar Sharma said that the district administration was committed to ensure there must not be any sort of problem in the delivering the essential commodities.
Taking the state’s battle against Covid to the grassroots, Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh had launched a month-long drive, as part of `Mission Fateh’, to spread mass awareness about the pandemic. The campaign aims at broadening the ambit of Mission Fateh beyond the frontline workers by bringing the people of Punjab into its fold to make the fight against Covid a battle of the people, by the people and for the people.
